Thought I'd make this so we don't have to make a lot short game threads everyday with only a few posts.
Anyways, what a win by the Hawks tonight in Detroit!

They pulled out a win in Detroit? Wow, good for them.
I really want to get into this team, I have an opening to do so with my fandom of the IceHogs, but this team needs to show me a reason to follow game in and game out.

What a game tonight. They were down 2-0 at the 1st intermission when I went away. I turned it back on and they were up 3-2 in the 3rd and this game was in Detroit. Impressive win.

Hawks tie it with 1.5 seconds left and beat Dallas in OT 2-1. Love it

I am starting to love these Blackhawks.
Reminds me of the 2004-2005 Bulls when we came back to win games.

"Blackhawks coach Denis Savard said Koci should return during the second half of the team's upcoming two-week trip, according to the Chicago Tribune. The left wing was placed on the injured reserve Oct. 26 after he broke his nose during a fight in the Blackhawks' loss at Boston a day earlier. The Blackhawks begin a six-game road trip next Wednesday in Columbus and conclude it at Vancouver on Nov. 25."
Havlat also practiced yesterday with full contact, and should be back soon.

Nice article on the blackhawks...

Chicago boasts two of the brightest teen-stars-in the-making in Patrick Kane and Johnny Toews. The two will battle one-two all season for the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie, much the way Atlanta's Dany Heatley -- the eventual winner -- and Ilya Kovalchuk did in 2001-02. Coach Denis Savard has his team playing an exciting brand of up-tempo hockey, utilizing the stretch pass more so than any team in the Western Conference.

With defenseman James Wisniewski expected to be on the shelf for 4-6 weeks with a knee injury, coach Denis Savard will depend even more on Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook to carry the load.

The Panthers acquired defenceman Magnus Johansson from the Blackhawks on Thursday for a seventh-round draft pick in 2009.
Johansson, 34, appeared in 18 games for the Blackhawks this season and picked up four assists. He was signed as a free agent over the summer.
