When NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said last Monday that the Blackhawks' request to host the league's next Winter Classic" outdoor game was intriguing and interesting, he wasn't kidding.

The Hawks want to play the game at Wrigley Field, which has been confirmed by multiple sources.

Talk about taking intriguing and interesting to a whole other level.

If the Hawks could pull it off, and there's no reason to believe they can't get Wrigley Field, considering president John McDonough's connections to the Cubs as their former president, it's a presentation - a mega-event - that the NHL couldn't possibly refuse.

That would be epic, but I have no idea how they'd be able to pull it off with how awkwardly shaped the seats are at Wrigley.

But seriously, if that were to happen, forget my Brewers fandom, I'm effing there.

Thats amazing. IMO they should go for it. It will unite those non-hockey fans. Wrigley field is such a great place. Cub and Hawks fans must unite as 1 ultimate fan. I would love to see players ram each other to the ivy brick walls. Amazin' just amazin', good luck with that Hawks.
