There was no game thread for today, but the Blackhawks pulled off an amazing victory over the Blues. Amazingly we are only 4 points out of the playoffs, with 6 games remaining.

Sat Mar 29, 2008 Blackhawks @ Blues 7:30 PM CSN-CH
Sun Mar 30, 2008 Blue Jackets vs Blackhawks 6:00 PM CSN-CH
Wed Apr 2, 2008 Red Wings vs Blackhawks 7:30 PM CSN-CH
Fri Apr 4, 2008 Predators vs Blackhawks 7:30 PM
NOT TELEVISED
Sun Apr 6, 2008 Blackhawks @ Red Wings 2:00 PM on NBC (HD) and CSN-CH
The two games against Columbus should be wins, as with St. Louis and a hopefully a revenge win against Nashville. We also need to get at least 2 or 3 points from Detroit.

I will sticky this so we can discuss the remaining games here.
I really want to go to a playoff game at the UC this year.

It's a long shot, but at this point, why bother not trying? This is an insanely young team who have never been in a playoff race before. Go for it.
Even if they fall short this season, man, the anticipation for next season will be bigger than any season in a long, long time.

Luckily I am getting ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS stations from Colorado out here for some stupid reason so I get all the Avalanche highlights.

It's probably over. An embarrassing loss to Columbus tonight, 4-0.

The Blackhawks nearly blew their 4-3 win tonight, and they are 4 points out with 4 games left to play.

They need to win out, pretty much where we keep talking about the playoffs. One loss and it's done. Hawks can get a maximum 90 points, both the Canucks and the Predators can get 94, Edmonton 90.

It would be oh so sweet if we were to sweep Detroit in these last two games. They are thinking playoffs, so maybe we can catch them off guard.

They added the April 4th game on Comcast SportsNet so all the remaining games will be on TV.
And I unstickied this yesterday because whenever I sticky a thread like this we get on a rather big losing streak.
Hawks/Jackets from the UC tonight

Today is a big day, Nashville is in Detroit (puck drops around a half hour from now), Avalanche is in Minnesota, who can clinch a berth with a win. Vancouver is home to Calgary, a huge game for both teams, but Vancouver has been sliding. Edmonton's idol, they only have two games left.
Plus, of course, the Hawks need a win.

Nashville and Detroit tied at 0 in the 2nd intermission.
I hate rooting for Detroit.

The Blackhawks win in a shootout! Great stops by Khabibulin and a great shot by Pat Kane. I love that kid.

Yes, NHL.com did not update the Blackhawks game yet. We should have 84 points, Nashville has 87 after they lost in OT to Detroit.
