If I know my hockey, the best thing to do is to lose three straight home games before heading out on a 6-game road trip.

All 3 games were games we in which we were in a position to win. That makes it even worse.

2-0 Hawks after 1. Versteeg and Sharp with goals, both in the last two minutes of the period.

Hey, a shootout win. Had no idea those were possible. Made up for Brian Campbell's ineptitude in overtime.

That was a nice result. I loved Quenville benching Kane and Sharp for the second period for picking up stupid offensive zone penalties. That sent a good message as I noticed that no one on the team picked up a dumb penalty the rest of the way.

Looking at the road trip I don't see any reason why we can't go 3-3....and maybe they even have a chance at 4-2.

Return to Chicago Blackhawks
