I never, ever thought they'd get to this point. Wow, just...wow

Only sad thing is no more Pat Foley for the rest of the ride.

it was a great game the crowd was into it the whole night as well from the anthem to the last second. The Hawks are a good young team that will be contenders over the next decade i feel anyways it is good to see Hockey alive and well in Chicago again.

I bet you'll see him on some Comcast postgame shows.

Not gonna lie, Foley thanking everyone and Olcyzk complimenting him like that, teared up a little.

I worked with a die hard Blackhawks fan in the early 2000's. We worked at night and had access to a television. And the wars we had in the winter months over whether we were gonna watch the Bulls or Blackhawks games got pretty intense. The Hawks were every bit as lousy back then as the Bulls but we were still fighting to see our beloved teams. And due to the fact that more people at our job were basketball fans than hockey fans, I usually got my way and some Bulls basketball, although I'd occasionally throw my pal a bone by flipping to the Hawks game at halftime and during commercials or blowouts in the Bulls game. So when I see the success the Hawks are having I'm just happy for guys like him and all the other true diehard Blackhawk fans out there. Congrats and enjoy it. You guys stuck around rooting for a bad team when most everyone jumped off the bandwagon. And good luck.

Somewhere, Dennis Savard is grinning from ear to ear. He was a HUGE part of this.

I wish I made the same emotional investment into the Hawks that I did with the Bulls so I could enjoy this win 100 times more than I am right now. Then again, if I actually did invest as much emotion into the Blackhawks in the late 90's / early 2000's, I probably wouldn't have survived.

Watching the fans tonight at the UC enjoying their win demonstrates exactly why I became such a hardcore Bulls fan when we sucked after the repeat 3-peat. Hopefully our time comes sooner rather than later.

Congrats big time to them. I remember working at the UC with crowds of 8000 being the norm for Blackhawk games.

It was a great game tonight. Kaner with a hat trick. Up and down type game.

The Western Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Finals are on National TV only so no Comcast SportsNet or Pat Foley until September. Eddie O. will be calling games on Versus and NBC.

How sick will a Red Wings/Blackhawks Western Conference Finals be? Couldn't ask for a better matchup.

Ah, ok. I've barely watched any hockey my entire life, but this run by Chicago is getting me interested.

Keep watching this team in the next few years. They're way ahead of schedule right now. Two of our best players are 20 (Patrick Kane) and 21 (Jonathan Toews).
