OT: The Blackhawks are flat out dirty...

I know, I know, this is a hoops message board and NHL and NBA fans don't tend to get along, but how about some credit where credit is due. I love all chicago sports teams but am a passionate Blackhawks season ticket holder and want to spread the word about this team.
I won't go into much detail, but all you need to know is that the Hawks have won 7 straight, and are 3-0 on the Circus Trip, and you all know how horrific that trip can be. We have the best record in the NHL when going by points percentage, have allowed the least goals per game, and rank top 5 or 10 in basically every measurable category. And by the way, arguably the best player on the team hasn't played a shift yet. I explain to my NBA-only fan friends that the addition of Marian Hossa is comparable to if Carmelo Anthony randomly was inserted into the Bulls line-up 20 games in. Really, it is, as crazy as that sounds.
In summary, the Hawks are the best team in the NHL and their best player hasn't stepped onto the ice yet.
I'm not expecting anyone to become full-fledged diehards, but give this team a chance. They're young, exciting, hard working, and talented. Truly a fun fun team to root for. Buy some tickets or flip them on one night when the Bulls have an off-night
Now let's hope the Bulls follow suit and make something of their road trip too.
Edit: They're also extremely well-coached. Never once have I felt that the Hawks lost a game due to coaching...and I don't think I can say that for any other team in this city right now. Avoids a lot of frustration.
