How's he looked thus far? I'm in Chicago so I don't get to see nearly enough Wings games these days. Most of my info comes from streaming dfn/xyt at work :)

So far he has looked great for us 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 games. Pretty good numbers for a guy that missed most of the season with back problems.

Yup, i feel he will continue to improve throughout the playoffs. If he really gets going, this team will be tough to stop

^I agree but I think the key to the playoffs is Hasek staying healthy. Bertuzzi will help bring some toughness and scoring on the top lines. Hope Zetterberg comes back healthy for the playoffs as well seeing as how he was one of the only top players to do anything in last years series against the Oilers.

Ahh so Bertuzzi is in the lineup now eh. Man, did Florida ever get screwed over by that Luongo/Bertuzzi deal haha.

Yeah they sure did traded 2 elite level players for pure prospects and spare parts now. What was that team thinking

It may be one of the worst trades in the history of the NHL

not even close,

02/06/98: Islanders trade D Bryan McCabe, C Todd Bertuzzi and a third-round draft pick to Vancouver for Trevor Linden

01/09/99: Islanders trade D Bryan Berard to Toronto for G Felix Potvin

06/23/00: Islanders trade G Kevin Weekes, D Kristian Kudroc and a second-round pick to Tampa Bay for the fifth overall pick and fourth- and seventh-rounders. They also trade G Roberto Luongo and F Olli Jokinen to the Florida Panthers for F Oleg Kvasha and Mark Parrish, and trade D Eric Brewer and LW Josh Green to Edmonton for D Roman Hamrlik.

06/23/01: Islanders obtain C Alexei Yashin from Ottawa for D Zdeno Chara, RW Bill Muckalt, and the second overall pick in the 2001 Draft which was Jason Spezza. Thats the worst trade ever, they gave up a all-star d-man, a great prospect in Spezza and Bill Mucklat for Yashin and then signed him to that horrible deal

03/11/03: Islanders trade LW Brad Isbister and prospect LW Raffi Torres to the Edmonton Oilers for D Janne Niinimaa, a 2003 second round pick and a 2003 fourth round pick

wow. alright than.

take the Islanders inept management out of it and its one of the worst trades ever.

And actually, how is trading one of the best goalies of the past 5 years for a guy who never played not terrible?

Ah the genius of Mike Milbury, I honestly don't know how he maintained a job for so long. Worst GM in the history of the game IMO. Could have went the Pittsburgh route but continue to settle for mediocrity.

Ahh the good old Milbury days with the Isles. I'm surprised he's not the general manager of another club right now, he was obviously quite good at his job.

Don't 4get about the trades the L.A. Jesters be making. Whoever they make trades with rips them off nearly all the time. They would win more games & Stanley Cup while L.A. is in the toilet every year. Shoot, the Jesters are the worst organization in SoCal. And that title was mostly held by the Clippers, and the Rams when they were here.

How bout Bertuzzi bodyslamming Phaneuf? That made me happy to see him stick up for our boys.
