The Flames better hope their Home game shows up because their road one sure as hell didn't. They were the best team in the NHL at home but the playoffs are a whole new season and we look like we should have a first overall pick right now. I still have faith though.

Yeah well the Wings are a elite road team and no offense but you guys look like you have no bussiness in the playoffs. Your suposed "best defensemen in the NHL" allow close to 50 shots per game while our defense limits you to 15 a game.

Detroit for the sweep in 4

I never said we had the best defenseman, I think we have a good group of dman but no where near the tops among the nhl. I think we win at least one at home.

As players they are the best defenseman but they dont play like them wiht our coaching staff.

Stuart, Regher probably could be number one defenseman in some places.

IF we had your coachhing staff we would already be in the finals. I hate you Jim Playfair!

I agree, you have good d-men but Detroit has among the best defensemen in the league. This is the game that will make or break your team. Your offense has to show up and Kipper has again play like a super human goalie.

Well, at the least the 10 o'clock start time allows me to avoid a conflict of interest with my Amir time.

Sometimes Pavel handles the puck a lil to much but man it's fun to watch him when he has the puck on a string.

Good win by the Flames, came from behind in the third to do so. A little bit of an elbow on Dion, but hey he threw an elbow to Datsyuk in game 2. Good game tonight, more of the closely contested game I thought most of the series would be. Game 4 should be fun!

I got to hand it to the Flames they beat us. We made some key mistakes as well like Lidstom not clearing the puck and trying to pass it up to Zetterberg

We should rebound and be ready for revenge for game 4

Well I figured this would go 5 or 6 game so I'm not exactly surprised. Woulda been nice to get the win, but still in good shape.

Yup we are still looking great. The Flames are dismal on the road and, i believe, had the most home wins this year. So them taking at least 1 at home is not surprising.

I just hope we send a bullet tommorow and pretty much end the series.

I will not go 7 games 6 max. Detroit is almost unstopable at home. There is no way we loose at home.

funny Calgary has a better home record than Detroit. If we steal this game your cooked.

Before you say it I know we have an abismal away record so I hope PLayfair tells the players its a makeshift arena in Calgary!

GOOD LUCK!

:sigh: I'm still hopefull this doesn't go past 6 game...but damn...woulda felt better had we been coming home up 3-1. Game 5 is now virtualy a must win. Maybe not mathematically, but if we blow that one we'll be in serious trouble.

Agreed.

Ugh, watching the end of game 5 was just killer. I was so tense and pissed. I guess the NHL really does still get excited, but still, weak. Time to bounce back and own some flames
