The Red Wings finalized their roster on Monday, making an offer to journeyman Aaron Downey and sending rookie Igor Grigorenko to the minors. Perhaps the biggest surprise to make the Wings

I always liked Igor he has some untapped potential to him and looks like he would be a good fit in our system.
I guess we need enforcers but please no Steve Downie types.

I like him alot too. I think a year in GR with the top line will do wonders for him and next year he can come up and impress.
Aaron Downie isnt like Steve. Steve is a feist little guy who scraps. Aaron is a big bruiser who will throw down with the heavyweights.
I want to see him and Parros to fight. (P.S. im soooo excited for the opener tonite!!!)
