Oilers defenceman Lubomir Visnovsky is done for the season. He will undergo shoulder surgery on Thursday to repair a torn labrum.

Visnovsky was injured last week against Chicago in a harmless looking play along the end boards.

With us only being one point out of the playoffs this is a serious blow to our playoff hopes. Grebeshkov and Gilbert are really going to have to step it up.

Yeah, this is definitely hurting us. But on the plus side, we haven't been too bad since he went down (with the exception of that awful Detroit game). There's still an outside chance at the usual inexplicable late-season run, although I'm not getting my hopes up.
