Oilers bring back Mike Comrie

He's a decent player and we did get him for pretty cheap. But I really don't see where he fits on this team, we don't need another center we already have Horcoff, Cogliano, Gagne, Nilsson, Brule and Pouliot. I'd much rather give some of our younger guys a shot then play Comrie as our fourth line center. Then there's also the fact that almost every Oiler fan hates this guy, whether it's because of that stupid holdout or the fact that he slept with Tommy Salo's wife.
Personally I really don't want this guy, but I heard we got a deal on his contract though no payments til 2011 and its interest free!!
Edmonton native Mike Comrie has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Oilers worth $1.125 million.
Comrie, originally drafted by Edmonton in the third round (91st overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, rejoins the Oilers after having played there from 2000-2003.
