Looks like you'll remember him now Theo! What a snipe by Pleks to win the game in OT! Also, Ovechkin with ZERO shots on net? Awesome! Can't say enough about Halaks first period, and crapload of big saves. What a game, and what a series this is going to be!

4-2 right now, they should've at least reviewed Backstrom's goal. hate those **** refs

Yeah these refs are absolute crap... Such goalie interference, and even if not, they were impeding the goalies progress which = no goal and face-off out of the zone.

and they missed a high stick on Markov

can't believe Halak let that Carlson goal in, he's been stopping those kind of shots all year long

That was an awesome game. I hate the refs for missing that blatant high-stick on Markov, which eventually led to the goal.

Habs are playing awesome and I hope Pleks will pull off another Jagr.

I thought I'd cool off, but I'm still ****ing livid over those last two goals. The refs blew it on some no calls - especially the interference on Knuble on Backstrom's first goal, but Halak was ****ing PATHETIC on the last two goals. Both Carlson and Backstrom's shots should have been stopped. And Markov had a horrible game; especially with his turnover to Fehr for the breakaway.

I agree the last two goals were bad by Halak, he looked real good at the start, but after being run NUMEROUS times without getting a single call, he got shaken up by the Caps. At that point he sat back in his net more, and played nervous hockey. This league is a friggin' joke, ESPECIALLY after missing that high stick!

Just wow. We all knew the league wanted the Caps to win, and this just solidifies that belief.

Without you guys mentioning Varlamov moving the net on purpose on the breakaway, which should've result in a goal by Gionta (who had a wide open net in front of him, before it was moved).
And, a detail which blew me away: why did Caps' sticks broke so easily? The Habs got two penalties because of fragile sticks (the first time I see this, this season).

The integrity of the game is very questionable.

I forgot about that net off deal...just another thing to add to the list.

As for the sticks, it's the friggin' composite pieces of crap... you touch them and they break in half. Gotta bring back the wood sticks, so tired of penalties due to flimsy composite sticks.

Hamrlik is the biggest piece of trash dman. WOW. Lets GIVE the game away, shall we? And then martin comes up with a defensive pairing w/ Hamrlik AND Bergeron? WTH is he trying to do? Give the game away? Pathetic play from Hammerstink, and pathetic coaching by Grecian Formula.

I hope that Roman Hamrlik played his last game with us. completely killed our momentum with his stupid decision that lead to that shorhanded

and Jacques Martin, great job matching up Ovechkin with Hall Gill who's only the slowest skater in the entire league
