Habs Regular Season - 2010/2011

Post#1 » by Snayr » Sun Oct 17, 2010 2:59 am

Little late, but better late than never!

Tough game for Price tonight, especially the 3rd goal... but the team pulled through for him (unlike last year) and gave him the goals needed to pull off the win. Nice to see.

Good to see Price register a shutout for the 1st time in a long-ish time! I've got him pegged for 4 or 5 shutouts this season, going to go with 4. Here's hoping he proves me wrong and gets himself into double digits ;)

I know, it's not going to last that long. But it's nice to see nonetheless. 8-)

Yeah... I dunno where the heck everyone disappeared to :/ it's sad rly.

Anyways, the Habs flat out collapsed last night vs. the Pens, and the reffin' was brutal. As for Cammi... he hasn't been the same Cammi at all this season, he needs to step it up!

Stupid Subban took a horrible penatly tonight against the flyers. We where already down 5-3 and he takes a dumb slashing penatly, and the flyers notch 2 goals before the end of 1st. Gonna be tough for MTL to come back from 2-0 against our kryptonite, in there own building no less

Les Habitans just do not match up well with Philadelphia. Philly's big strong, fast bruising team beats up our little fast guys... We need to not matchup with them in the playoffs... atleast not till later in the playoffs. Oh well, only 2 pts out of the division lead, so that's what I'm hopin for.

Montreal's powerplay is soooo damn brutal. For almost Martin's hole tenure our powerplay always stinks. I don't understand, I mean, when it's struggiling do you not just go back to basics? I don't get why we can never generate anything with the man advantage

Whoa! Spyke! Dang it, I'm sorry I didnt notice you posting in here earlier!

Anywho, was nice to see the boys get back on track and shut out the blue and white. Now we have to keep it going, and play solid team D. Gotta love the addition of the kids, they're playing great hockey for us!

I've had it with Gary Betman and the NHL.

Worst part is he was re-signed for 5 years... brutal. Bettman is ruining the game... needs to be ousted.

Fcuking brutal.

This team can't score, can't generate anything. WTF has happened to these guys? Heading into the 3rd period against Washington and we haven't scored in over 160 minutes and through 2 periods we've got a whopping 11 shots... These guys turn the puck over constantly and are always seemingly hemmed into there own end.

Mtl needs to get some size and grit on there team. And I don't mean Georges Laraques, we've got to get tough hard nosed players... The Carcillo's, and tootoo's of the world. We just get pushed around and muscled about all the time. Too many finnese players on this team.

Ugh.

I agree man... it's brutal. Not too mention our "top offensive player" this year won't even hit the 60 point mark... wonderful! Feel so bad for CP right now, he's being hung out to dry by his teammates.

Yea man, yet every story I ever hear about montreal is how Price is struggling and needs to bounce back... the real story in mtl is our lack of offensive punch for the last few years. Seems to me this team is always struggling to score, and more importantly, struggling to maintain pressure. In recent time, we've always kinda been a team that capitilizes on our chances, however few and far between they've been... but i'd sure love to see us have some sustained pressure on a team and not just a 1 off, off some turnover or something.
