Kinda OT: Ales Hemsky on the move?

Eklund is speculating the trade could come soon, and it could be to a Northeast Division team
More to come...looks like an Atlantic Division Team, but I am told one team from the Northeast that was in, then out, could get back in on it depending on an injury situation with the team in question
A solid "buy low" situation?

Well its about time we started shopping him. Super talented player but he's underachieved throughout his entire career.

Some of my friends that are much more into the day to day hockey stuff than I am always laugh at Eklund and his "sources"... is this guy a joke or is he actually decent at breaking stuff?

Eklund has his moments;
There will be months were I think the guy is writing pure fiction, then something like the Sutter hiring in LA comes about that he reported a week prior and he has been like gold around the trade deadline in past seasons.

His contract is not putrid, and I have to wonder if a change of scenery may help him or he is simply what he is

I doubt a change of scenery will do much for him. I'm not saying he's a bad player, but he could just be so much better.

Lol I guess not. Its been frustrating watching him play for the last 8 years but he's still a productive player who can put up 50 to 60 points a year and he is one of the better playmakers in the league.
