How do you see our starting lineup coming together? I don't mind this;
Max / DD / Cole
Galchenyuk / Plek / Gionta or Bourque
Moen or Prust / Eller / Gionta or Bourque
Moen or Prust / White / Armstrong
Gallagher will fight it out with Kristo for a top 6 in a year or 2 when Gionta's contract expires or he is traded.
All signs for me seem to be pointing to Galchenyuk making this team imo.

This will likely be a throw away season;
I think giving Galchenyuk as much of an opportunity as possible is the best way to go.

Is it wrong of me to hope the talk of Subban (and picks) for Jamie Benn are correct?

That's an interesting proposal. Benn would be a great fit on this team imo. A great fit. But I don't think I'd feel comfortable if where giving up anymore than a third rounder along with PK. I've heard rumblings though that management is not happy with PK's attitude and "professionalism" for lack of a better word... I think in time he will develop some maturity, as most adults do, and when that time comes, he'll be a force in this league and his skillset is something we could really use.
That said, Benn would be a great fit... Interesting proposal.

Maybe I am just paranoid;
But contract or not I get the feeling that Subban's career in Montreal will not end well;
The contract negotiation seems to be making me a little sour, he is good but he hasnt earned what he is asking for.
I am of the sell high mindset.

I am thrilled the Pens landed Iggy;
Simply because Boston was oh so close, and I can't imagine the locker room is taking the dizzying high of having him in their grasps to the lowly lows of a Conference Rival securing him too well.
I remember when Ray Bourque was *almost* traded to the Flyers only to have the Avs sweep in and get him, it was reported as devastating to the Flyers locker room, I can only hope the same thing will happen here.
