This maybe the best half of basketball Wolves played this year. Hope we keep it up.

Just wondering what do the Wolves do during half time break. Do they think they are the Show Time Lakers? Pot is illegal in Minnesota and Call of Duty is passe'

How many layups/putbacks have we missed tonight? Way too many.

This just goes back to execution and shotmaking. You have to trust the guys and trust the team. You can and will make mistakes, but you can't let that spiral into lack of trust and lack of execution and lack of effort. You can make mistakes while trusting the process. Good things will happen in aggregate if you do and you can overcome those mistakes.

KAT got underneath Prince and Prince landed on KAT hurting his ankle. WTF was KAT thinking. Stat padding isn’t worth it.

Naz got the bad end of Boban and his shoulder looks messed up. Might need to call up Garza.

15 of 33 from 3 doesn’t hurt either.

Yes, but 15 for 33 comes partially through trusting the process and their system and giving effort. If you do that the game becomes easier and everyone stays activated... it's not a surprise we make more shots... not saying it will always be 15 of 33... but I think the 39 assists on 49 missed baskets is the real story here.

Immature teams with poor leadership don't understand that this is the truth. They think that's some old-head fluff. That leads to immature me-first basketball which then compounds all of those things.

There is truth in what you are saying. But we missed thirty 3s last night and most were wide open. A good shooting night goes a long way.

And they continued to trust that if the brought effort and belief in the system and their teammates that shots would go in. The point is to focus and believe in the process and better outcomes will come more often than not. They started moving the ball better against MIL and got a lot of open shots those open shots today started to go in.

This team has lacked belief and that then leads to a lack of trust and effort which leads to stagnation and spiraling. Check out Dane Moore’s quote from J Max who echoed exactly what I’m preaching. There’s no player who truly believes in what I am saying on the team more than J Mac and that’s the reason he plays like he does which so many have praised.

Yeah he was pissed about it too  . Prince explained on the bench "his foot, He wants the rebound so bad, I GOT IT I GOT IT" everyone was laughing. We now know who the leader because even talked to Towns about it.

Again, there is some truth in this. But JMAC is 5’11, a bad 3 point shooter, a sub par man on man defender, and limited in his offensive moves. He plays the way he plays because that is literally all he can contribute. Pace, passing, and little ninja type plays (steals, sneaking in for a rebound, ect…) is what keeps him in the rotation.

We didn’t suddenly start defending better, they just missed more shots. We didn’t suddenly fix our offense, we just hit more open shots. We didn’t suddenly improve to a top of the league team, we just played the bottom of the west.

I have faith in these guys. I had fun tonight. But, this wasn’t because Rudy was gone nor about the guys buying in. It was about making our shots.
