It's getting harder to look at the silver linings, but yes this is one.

Thanks for this. It was eye opening how Beverly was talking about "coaching the coaches" especially with regards to our low man defensive scheme.
Casts a little bit of doubt on our defensive resurgence last year and how much was FInch and how much was Bev and Vando.

How much better would the Gobert trade look if we had just sent russell out instead of beverly/beasley/vando

It's worrisome man. I still think they will turn it on but I am shocked at how unprepared and bad we look. I though the front office and coaches had a better handle on how this would play out than they have. They sounded very confident that that they had a plan to make this work. There was talk about Rudy unlocking Dlo, etc. None of that has happened. It's very alarming how we have gotten weaker in areas we were already poor in last season. I'm not seeing any advantages right now to our moves and only negatives.

Every other team that made a big trade this off-season has seen some cool dividends so far. Murray and Young and balling in Atlanta, Mitchel fits like a glove in Cleveland and they are one of the top teams in the league, Utah is balling on the west. We are out here looking like clowns. It's very distressing because we were sold on being big players.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.
