Now I know why I am so upset over this loss. We would have been 3rd in the west if we could have just taken care of business. Now we are 10th, hate seeing us blow opportunities for success, especially ones that are not hard to grasp.

I just reviewed Towns' 11 3-point shots, all 11 times it's an open catch and shoot that he MUST take.
Going 0 for 9 in the second half is 100% a mental problem, and in a game that was decided by one possession, it's obviously the first thing that comes to mind to explain the loss.

But I found Ant very undisciplined in defense, and not always clever in his choices in attack.

In general, I have the impression that every time the team tried to run on the counter-attack, it more often resulted in a missed layup or a turnover, and a counter-attack from Charlotte in the other direction.
This team may be more destined to play slow on the half court, trying to play clean and under control (at least against young teams who like to run).

I had this pegged as a loss so I'm not doom and gloom...yet. How they respond will be the real question.

But did anyone expect this team to really not fall back in love with the smell of their own farts? It's the only consistent thing we've had in the Towns era.
