Re: Wolves vs Pacers
Do you think we saw some glimpses of the best Rudy?

Rudy is a 100% system player. It means better we play as team, better he looks.

I was impressed when I heard that Finch was 7-2 in crunch time, and did well last year too.
With the players we have on the team, coach deserves credit for pushing the right buttons.

Re: Wolves vs Pacers
I was looking at the box scores, and I’m surprised we can win any games as much as we turn the ball over.
DRussell 4 AST, 3 TO
Edwards 8 AST, 6 TO
McDaniels 1 AST, 3 TO
Anderson 0 AST, 1 TO
R.Gobert 1 AST, 2 TO
Naz Reid 0 AST, 3 TO
MacLaugh 4 AST, 3 TO
The only guys that weren’t giving it up were Austin Rivers (3/0) and, happily, Jaylen Nowell (4/0).
But that is still a crazy number of turnovers.

21 turnovers last night is actually an improvement from the 23 turnovers in the first Pacers game...

Wow. Sure seems like we need to bring in one of those Jones brothers, who went #1 and #2 in AST/TO ratio last year!

Re: Wolves vs Pacers
Considering McLaughlin had similar turnovers and he's up there in the Jones category, I think it's more a result of the style of play when these teams share the court. I'm not too concerned.

How about both?
Those 2 in, Dlo and Nowell out. Extend Naz for cheap.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

We also have 15 steals which resulted in 19 Pacers turnovers. We also out rebounded them 51 to 31 with 16 to 4 offensive rebounds while both teams shot similar percentages.
sloppy/careless turnover and playing faster than we can handle are still major problems with this team. I don't consider that a style of play. If a team gets more offensive rebounds, more steals, more blocks and less turnovers, it usually wins the game. Those are non-replaceables where as points and defensive rebound are more replaceable. Someone could run the stats and see if there is a correlation.
Despite a great game from DLo, having one of the Jones or a better defensive PG would help a lot. JMcL is too small to be consistent on defense.
