Think of KAT as Jr Rider and Ant as KG.

One was a head case drafted 5th overall. The other was a 18 yo young man , also drafted 5th overall, who took a few years, but eventually became the face of the team. But JR had to go.

The only difference is, the current set was drafter first overall. One is still a head case, the other was drafted at 18 and will eventually become the face of the franchise. But first the head case must go.

You can’t build a team around two buddies who are completely incompetent on defense and one of them is entitled as hell. But you can trade them for guys who are more defensively and physically reliable.(KAT gets hurt every year for long stretches (last year was an anomaly) and DLo is hurt multiple times every season.)

This is a losing argument. Because if we truly “got rid” of them. We would have starter level players to replace them playing in this game. We wouldn’t be short handed.


It should be seen as a negative on both KAT and DLo that we aren’t any worse without them.

They played a very good team competitively through three quarters instead of losing after the first quarter. That seems like progress at least?
