I think Ant and Kat can work but we need more versatility and specialists around them.
I think guys like Prince, Anderson and Matt Ryan could be beneficial as they don’t require many shots, but seem to play with higher IQ.
While I like Naz, him JN, JMac, Rudy, etc are expendable. Although Rudy isn’t going anywhere due to politics.
I think Ant and KAT could work too but they probably need a totally different supporting cast. They need smart, gritty, husterls around them. They need rah rah guys. They need Vandos, energy, speed. We don't have that.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Agreed. While a lot of ppl may despise guys like Draymond, you absolutely need at least one on your team. Look at what Bev did. He wasn’t the best player by any stretch but his personality commanded respect. It paid off.
Also, while I like Ant, there’s still some questions about his position as “the” star. Look at what Zion and Giannis did when their teams were coming up short. They imposed their will.
Ant is still finding his way and I hope he develops into that once he realizes what it takes.

Defensive rebounding just keeps killing the team..gave away 20 offensive rebounds today. If this team can become an average defensive rebounding team and stop turning over the ball 20 times a game, that alone will make them a top4 seed.

When your coach deploys a 4 guard/wing lineup for almost the entire game against 2 bigs what do you honestly expect will happen?
I'm dumbfounded how downright stupid and stubborn FInch is constantly playing undersized, even against double big matchups.
Garza and Knight 23 total minutes between them, and both those guys can shoot. Our guards other than Ant are awful what is the point of putting a 3rd and 4th one out there?
I mean you could trap Zion and Giannis with 2 bigs like every other coach in the league but there is FInchy again zigging when everyone else is zagging.
How many rebounds do you expect out of a Dlo/Nowell/Ant/McD/Naz lineup? Ant is the best rebounder out of that bunch.
Bobby Portis 22 pts and 8 offensive boards. Joe Ingles looked like he was playing on one leg and still ended up with 4 treys and 10 assists. Cuz BBIQ matters. And we have none to spare, and that starts with our coach who keeps bashing square pegs into round holes.

Time to accept its the organization from top to bottom. Front office for absolutely miscalculation the fit of this roster, players for not having some essential NBA skills like boxing out and rebounding, coaching staff for not creating a scheme that could accommodate the players we do have. This is a collective, multi-level botch job. We had deep playoff run aspirations and we on a path to be fighting for our lives to make the play in.
I think more than anything it shows last year was a fluke.
We caught some luck with other teams having major injuries and rode some good health and good chemistry in the 2nd half of the season to 47 wins.
Then Connelly came in and blew that all up for one player when we weren't close to being one player away.
We just aren't that good. We have talent, but no clue how to make it fit.
We have huge holes, and no clue how to fix them.
This team is hot garbage and I don't expect it to get much better when (if) we get healthy.
I fully expect us to get drilled by the pistons next game.

Watch the whole game. We managed to lose this too. They were making us win without too much trouble. Apart from refereeing but I don't want to complain about that. If it's still not clear that this team lacks identity, intelligence and desire, I don't know what else we have to see. I keep thinking that we need to start questioning the coach. There's no way we suck so badly at some basketball fundamentals.
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

Note30, that's a different user. I noticed that last night and immediately knew there'd be some confusion. I've had an account for some time but never replied until recently.
