The effort and killer instinct is not there as often as it needs to be. Guys got to be willing and able to hit big shots and we have to play with intensity of defense. KAT was definitely lacking some of that in that game (the way he played against the Suns was a lot better in the first half). I don't think its all KAT, the team has done this in plenty of games without him. That said as a star its on him to be an example.

Ultimately it will be on the coaching staff and GM to judge what these guys are bringing to the table. If any player, including KAT is really dragging his feet, or not committing consistently to playing hard, the way we need to play, we need to start moving those guys out and bringing people in that will.

A team playing hard and with purpose, all season can get you 45 wins with just pure effort and heart. A talented team can get you playoff runs. Guys have to be committed 100 percent. You don't have to have all the talent in the world, just commit whatever talent you do have to the team concept.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Why is that? Is it because they get charged up by away crowds and making them quiet? Is there some osmosis effect of Minnesota sports mediocrity zapping their ability to play with purpose and energy?

Is it the lack of vitamin D available during the season in MN? They've been kicking ass on west coast trips this year, but seem to stink anywhere east of the Midwest.

I hope the Wolves move to Las Vegas, so they can start winning more*

(*also because I live in Vegas)

It's too much Call of Duty and Fortnite at home. The team is moving to Seattle and will install sun lamp and tanning bed all over the new coliseum and practice facilities. I also heard ARod is asking Taylor for a refund before that will happen.
