You may not like how much Gobert is making but that doesn't mean he is not the 2nd or 4th best player on the team right now.

I find it unfair that all the dirty work Gobert does for this team is not recognized by MIN fans. And except for games he has been injured he is one of the most consistent in terms of effort.

I don’t think it goes unnoticed. I believe the issue stems from the transaction itself. Fans would be fine with a big trade for a significant player. However, this wasn’t the move they were expecting, especially with the future being mortgaged for it.

Unfortunately, Gobert is going to be the one to bear be l the brunt of their frustration since he’s the one seen on a nightly basis. Yes, he’s been beneficial in areas but also has glaring flaws.

He’s truly a player who you have to live with the bad and hope the good outweighs it. I think it could still be beneficial if you swap surrounding players BUT they need to be long, versatile, gritty, smart players.

We need players that fit the mold of a 6’9+ archetype.

A) we still have excellent trade capital in KAT and McDaniels. (I rather keep Mcd)
The forcing the issue with Rudy is more the issue. This leads me to believe that either Finch and/or Connelly are infatuated with big offenses. But it goes against a “flow” offense if you’re told explicitly to look for Rudy, that’s not flow. Rudy worked in Utah with a similar dominant wing in DM. But in that system they had better shooters and less forcing it Rudy.

Jaden has about .1% more of a chance of being traded than ant does…which puts him at .1%

They’re not trading a 22 YO defensive stud that guards 1-4 with good offensive trajectory his first 3 years. Especially with little draft picks the next 5 years

I was thinking about this last night. **** rub one out Gerson you moron

Impossible to compete without bench. today starter through not perfect manage to compete against the Denver starter, our bench just got destroy.

Not many teams if any were beating the nuggets last night. They shot 78% from within 14 feet, insane!

I actually thought for the most part out defense was ok to respectable. Everything they tossed up even with hands in their faces went in.

Absolutely nothing anybody can do. And KA has been an absolute non factor through 3 games.

Rudy has been by far our second best player. I think he’s done a pretty good job on joker.

No man, Rosas is guilty of been an ****. But the didn't pull the trigger on the Gobert trade.

Yea but we are here because Rosas got booted. If he was still around I doubt this team would be constructed like this.

Yea I don't think everything is so doom and gloom. The worst thing to me in this series is KAT's horrendous play. Thankfully game 3 was good but he has been a hot mess in the first two and its really disheartening to watch. At the very least, he hasn'tr been as whiny or in as much as foul trouble as the Grizzlies series. The other thing is just how bad we have looked for most of this series, its really disappointing.

That said I think we can still pivot. At the very least, we can run it back and I think with health and some key smaller roster moves we could look a lot better. Everyone can go into the off-season and focus on bettering their game to fit this style of play.

Perhaps an even better alternative is that we can make some bigger moves. You could trade Towns for some picks and or some players who simply fit in a lot better with Rudy or Ant. We could get some wing defenders or a PF who just will be cheaper but a better value fit for the post-season.

I think a full season with more health and a deeper bench would work wonders. Also this staff and team better know how to play with Rudy. I think they severely underestimated how much of an adjustment a Center like Rudy is. They will either want to keep this current vision and run it back with some big tweaks and new understanding or they will move on by likely trading Towns (easier to move right now) and reload.

I don't think we are doomed at all. We still got Ant and Jaden. We can work with Rudy, they can come back and be pretty good if everyone gets on the same page and starts working towards it as soon as this series ends.

I'm optimistic too, we're not doomed at all. (Jord)Ant is THE MAN and McDaniels is right up there with him. Rudy is doing OK on the court, not convinced he's good with the guys on a personal level but he doesn't need to. And Towns has huge value despite his shortcomings, I hope our much lauded GM can work something and bring back good pieces a la Kyle and Mike.

Agree… just takes a GM with the balls to finish the job and add some potato’s around ANT and McD. Get a couple gamers in here and roll into 2023-2024
