Would be nice if only for the length he would bring to the defensive side of the ball. However, I think he is more comfortable looking for his own shot, not great running action, and doesn’t have the floor general type of qualities one would hope to have in a point guard. He also seems more prone to pulling up rather than getting to the second level of the defense. I see him as a more likely Nowell upgrade to give us scoring punch when Ant subs out.

I think McLaughlin will start the year in the rotation and get every chance to show 2022-23 was an off year. If he struggles, then we probably look to trade Brown or Milton for a PG.

In starts last year Milton put up over 7 assists a game. I think he's better at floor general than you think.
