Ayton only has one foul on him. Someone really needs to tell him to knock off these 3s and take it to the hoop

There is one thing that the first 9 games has made absolutely clear, Naz is not a center.

At least he tries. Randle is just lazy, sleepy. We need to give up an asset for a rim protector.

Second blowout in a row but somehow we just don't look good doing it.

That's right and he's not a starter either. He is perfect coming off the bench. 6th man type.

When we want to play we're really good. We need a more consistent effort.

Easy win. Not much to get excites as Portland is really bad. But we play seriously. Go Wolves!

The offense looked really good outside of a few bad minutes in the 2nd quarter.
The 3 point shooting was the difference, we made 22 to their 6.

I don't know if I'm ready to buy the huge jump in 3 point shooting for Ant and Randle yet, but Ant's form looks really really good this year, he has incredible balance on his shot, and his form is really smooth from start to finish.
In baseball terms, it looks like he has a perfect swing right now.
I don't know about Ant staying above 45% (currently 48%), but I can certainly see him finishing over 40% this year.

The interior defense still looks terrible outside of Rudy, who was more aggressive tonight than he has been all year.
Rob looked pretty good in garbage time and we even got a couple of dunks from Luka.

We had some really nice passing in transition tonight leading to some easy buckets which was great to see.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
