Oh, how soon we forget.

Edwards pre-All Star break, 2020: FG 37.1%, 3P 30.2%, 4.0 RB, 2.5 AST, 0.4 BPG, 0.9 SPG, 14.1 PPG

Edwards post-All Star break, 2020: FG 45.4%, 3P 34.9%,, 5.3 RB, 3.4 AST, 0.6 BPG, 1.4 SPG, 23.8 PPG

Ant gave all the credit to Ricky Rubio for mentoring him. If Ant had been able to play like that at the start of the season, he’d easily have been Rookie of the Year over LaMelo.

That said, I don’t think we should compare Ant and Dillingham. Both were young, but Ant came in with an NBA body, (better than that!), and very little basketball background. Dillingham came in with an inferior NBA body, but a great basketball background. I don’t think you could find two more different rookies, and the speed each develops to the NBA can’t be compared.

Okay maybe I exaggerated, and yes I do remember him turning it on post ASB, that was also after we fired Ryan. That said, his defense was an adventure and his understanding of scheme was… challenged. Also I agree about the NBA body.

My point was rookies can have bad starts and develop. Rookies can also have good starts and collapse, (I use good loosely with this example,) like Jarrett Culver. Culver flashed promise and never delivered. Rob might develop into the next Kyrie, or flop out of the NBA, it is way too early to tell.

Also Randle has 14 RB, Rudy has 12, no Mobley, and we still get outrebounded by 5.

Just by box scores, Wolves should had won the game - Randle almost a 20 pts triple double, Gobert double double with 17 pts, Ant 28 pts, and Naz 16 pts. There has been a few occasions this year where we got amazing stats but still loss the game. That tells me we are missing something and margin for victory is too small. Or maybe we could be hopeful our luck will turn around the second half?

Rebounding is really an issue. If tomorrow Rudy don't play ( he is D2D), we will see if someone show up.
I still struggle to understand how bad can be NAZ at rebounding, and others not consistent at that point. Not talking about Small Mike who is pretty good for his size.
