Zion Syndrome. Looks like he is going to cost NOP a top 5 pick this year.

Presumably on a swipe down or a dunk gone wrong. He tore a ligament in his wrist. Either someone hit his wrist at the wrong angle or he hit it on the rim during a dunk. Then again it could have happened if he fell. I haven’t seen a specific play. With the adrenaline pumping it can be hard to notice when it happens, but then you wake up the next morning and it is swollen and sore and you get looked at. They do the imaging and boom, surgery.

You're not going to swipe a slice of Zion's pizza and walk away unscathed.KGdaBom wrote:Does anybody know how Derik Queen got injured? Nothing about how it happened in the article I found. He put up nice numbers in SL.

He is pretty physically cooked, but I would have loved this pickup. Lakers definitely offer a better pathway to minutes, though.

He was never the same after he broke his hand/wrist.

They released Jordan Goodwin to pick him up, who might actually be the more productive player in 2025. He's got some defensive pop and hits the boards. I wouldn't mind picking him up at all. He fits the defensive profile FInch likes.

We got Mike! Jingles ghost also on our roster, but he won’t play close to 2200 minutes. I would be surprised if he played 220 minutes.

Half that, 114. Conley came in at 1,756 minutes.

Yeah I should have done the math. Mike would need to average 26.8292 MPG to get to 2200 in 82 games. If you add in playoffs he might still be short.

If I had to guess, I'd say that MN isn't interested in Davison. I would think they are more looking for more of a combo 1/2 who can play both on and off the ball.
