I believe Sep 29 is the starting day, meaning we are getting closer to another season!

When news started to circulate that Grady was in line for the plum national gigs, Wolves fans started to worry that they were losing their guy. They likened it to losing Harlan, who left for national acclaim in 1998. But Grady watched Eagle hold on to his local gig with the Nets while doing more national work and Mike Breen continue to call New York Knicks games while leading the ESPN/ABC broadcasts and wanted to do the same.

Grady said he will work about a third of the Wolves games this season. His NBC/Peacock duties will be early in the week and his Amazon games will be at the end of the week. That leaves some openings in the middle of the week for Wolves games, in addition to a few pockets in his national schedule where there are openings on other nights.

He will also call some Timberwolves games as a national voice. The Wolves are set to be featured nationally 28 times in the upcoming season, a testament to their success in advancing to back-to-back Western Conference finals and Anthony Edwards’ star power. Seventeen of those games are currently scheduled for Amazon or NBC/Peacock.

“It was a situation where it’s an opportunity that you can’t pass up mixed with a beautiful situation you don’t want to say goodbye to and you don’t want to let go of,” he said.

Thanks for posting the link to the Britt R. / Chris F. conversation. Good to be coming out of the NBA abyss and hearing some insight.

Part 2 is up:

MP: You guys were like 18th in the NBA in two-point accuracy, and had a much higher percentage, relative to the league, in 3-point percentage. Do you worry about your interior shooting accuracy?

Finch: Yup. I worry about it. So much so that we have retooled our finishing program — how we look at finishing, our player-development pieces of it. Ant had a subpar finishing year, there is no real excuse for that. Donte and Mike, as you already mentioned. Naz (Reid) did, too.

I think there were a lot of forced shots at the rim. But (the issue) was a little different for everyone. For Mike it was the floater. For Ant, I don’t know, it seemed to have left him. Maybe he didn’t pay enough attention to it in his own player development. That has been a priority — getting back to that for him.

I think Donte’s problem was indecision — he was trying to find Rudy (Gobert) at times. And he was over-penetrating and putting himself in a position where he turned it over a lot, too, which is worse than the misses.

But everybody had something unique to why they had their struggles and forced us to look at how we teach our finishing.

Thanks Klomp for sharing the article. I love Finch itw and am on the same page with him. A couple of small things to fixed and we may be very good. Hierarchy when we got defensive rebound is one of them who annoyed me at times. Ant keeping the ball way too long. Let's see how we handle it. Hope we also fixed the missing floater part.

The Sezzle folks **** suck. Zero effort in making their logo fit the colour scheme, just gross looking.

Otherwise, I love them bringing these jerseys back!

I suggest you never look at NRL (Rugby League) jerseys... Shameless sell out of jersey space.

Both can be true: he might be ready from mental and physical standpoint AND he needs defined role and established offensive flow to impact the game.
