Minnesota starts the season 18-6.
Conley does better than expected, Dillingham does not.
DiVincenzo returns to form, and plays 28 minutes a game.
Fans finally start to embrace Julius Randle.
Wolves knocked out in first round of the playoffs.

2026-27. Beringer gets votes for Most Improved Player.

Multiple large trades will occur completely reconstructing roster around Ant and new coach.

I think the Wolves will start the season well, and if they hold onto a top two spot in the west, we may see them mentioned in awards.

Jaden, first team All Defense?

Gobert second team All Defense?

If Randle continues to play like he did in the last third of the season, and first two playoff series, could he get another All NBA selection, or even MIP?

I think Ant is still a long shot for MVP, and several other stars (Jokic, SGA, Luka, Giannis) would have to drop for Ant to rise up and pass them. However, there is voter fatigue with all of them, and Ant winning MVP would be an exciting move for the NBA. I think Ant would have to be first team All NBA if the Wolves have a successful (58 wins?) regular season.

I gave you a +1 despite your trashing Dilly. You will rue the day you went up against the extreme. Imminent rueage.

I guess this is going to be a BOLD prediction.
Despite what everybody thinks Dilly will not suck giant donkey dong. He will be a valuable member of the Wolves rotation.

Being honest, gambling on Rob Dillingham kinda feels like putting it all on green, but if it hits, that'll be huge!

Miller wasn’t in the group I was talking about. I meant Dillingham, Clark, and Shannon.

Miller is a young Timberwolf. That group also includes Le Berricade, but not the Donk of Dunk who may still play overseas. I get where you are coming from with Shannon. He is a potential low level star. Kind of ANT Lite. It's just depressing that you expect Dilly to earn certainly under 10 MPG and maybe only 5MPG. I don't see Clark getting 10, but if he's above Dilly he could.

These don't feel very bold...

Here's a few of mine:
Ant will win MVP
Julius will shoot over 40% from 3
The Wolves will have the best defence in the league
Gobert will win DPOY, causing Draymond Green's head to explode
Wolves will lead the league in 3s (taken and/or made)
Rob Dillingham will replace Mike Conley as the starting PG by the All Star break

I should not have been responding on my phone, it's harder to convey a fleshed-out argument without missing chunks of what I wanted to say.

Basically, I wasn't thinking of Miller (or Zikarsky) when I made that bold prediction. I was thinking about Dillingham playing less than Shannon, Clark, and Beringer.

And speaking of Zikarsky, I have no idea why you think he may play overseas. He's in the facility with the team.

I haven't been paying much attention to Rocco in the last couple months. Is it too late to leave him overseas?

Ddv plays well but is traded w/JU before the deadline while we hover amongst 4 - 8th seed...look for a more balanced lineup, for a pg and c.

Jaden wins MIP.

Jaylen averages more mpg than tsj and rob.

Finch is fired before the end of the season.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
