Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I realize that TJ plays how Finch wants Rob to play. The biggest points of emphasis I have heard since summer are pushing in transition and breaking the paint. Once you break the paint, it collapses the defense and really allows the subsequent action to be effective. Even as I think about it more, this was a big improvement that was made from the initial Russell for Conley trade. Obviously, Conley is older now and so his ability to break the paint is not as frequent nor is it as effective.

I do think Rob is the eventual solution at the position, but I would say his lack of physicality currently limits his ability to break the paint. We know about Donte's struggles as well. TJ might be the best solution. I know people don't want to call him a PG or whatever, but hedoes play exactly how they want the guy in that spot to play. He did it in the opener. He did it in the preseason. He did it during summer league.
