Just pop a video of 21 Jump Street into your VCR and you'll feel much better.

We also traded Wally and Kandi's expiring deal for Blount and Davis -- again Taylor tried to get talent and didn't let the deal expire and save the money.

Was there any other time we had a big expiring deal to try to bring in talent?

I used Sam/Spree to refute your point that the team could not "afford" to put other high priced players around KG/Wally. I criticized Taylor for being unable to commit to improving the team (of which him going over the luxury tax would be a part). Nothing was contradictory.

This is an example of my complaints. It was a half-***ed attempt to "improve" the team (yea, Ricky Davis improves teams, just look at MIA this year), while also breaking up Wally's bigger contract into smaller (and in Ricky's case, shorter) pieces. I'm pretty sure I've complained (although quite awhile ago) about this team's willingness to accumulate mediocre players (Marko, T-Hud, Hassell, etc.) making millions of dollars instead of putting that money towards a legit sidekick for KG and building from there.

Spree.
