Magloire's getting no time at all, and some NJN posters are feeling bad for him, because he signed with them thinking he could revive his career.
I'd be in favor of a straight-up Doleac-for-Magloire trade. I think Magloire has more chance for court time here, and while he was greedy in the past, maybe he's come here and be a little more humble. He's an expiring, just like Doleac, but costs $880,000 more. That might be important to NJN, since their payroll is at $67.5 mil, and it would give them some breathing room under the lux.
Give him a shot?

Buckner for Mags would be preferred but Doleac would work.
We ought to do something and soon. Having Al bang against big centers is a good way to get him hurt.

This is nothing against Smith, but Boone is averaging 10 points an 9 rebounds per since moving into the starting lineup. Most importantly since Smith is going to be a RFA, he will likely cost 3x more over the next 2 years than Boone.
