I could see Memphis possibly doing it to move salary and get someone like McCants who'd fit nicely in their backcourt.

I'm not sure why we would do it as Gasol and Warrick gives us two more PFs. Gasol might be able to play some C and Warrick some SF, but I don't see those two as great fits there.

Memphis has been rumored to moving Gasol since last summer, but the KG deal supposedly kept alot of teams in limbo.

If there was a big man they liked in the draft, I could see them grabbing a Rookie Big to groom with their PG of the future in exchange for a draft-pick and SG like McCants who only has a year left. Of course Theo is off their books at seasons end.

The Wolves get a player along-side Jefferson, but no, Gasol is not a true Center. Warrick hasn't played up to expectations, but who knows ...

For whatever reason, it seems Gasols future in not with the Grizzlies.

intruiging....

But Mem has no need for Green and he adds no value as an expiring contract. IF we were to add GOMES (who is a RFA) I think they would be much more tempted to bit on this fairly decent offer for Gasol.

If they want to move Gasol they call Chicago. Simple as that. Otherwise I do not like the deal. Gasol is a huge money investment. Which means lux tax, which means we do not resign Gomes/Cookie/bassy plus we already lose Shad.

No. I do not like it.
