Okafor would be a better fit next to Al.
I agree with you if we pick Beasley or Rose.
If we end up with Hibbert, I don't know what i'll do.

"With the 1st pick in the 2008 NBA DRAFT, the Minnesota Timberwolves select.."

" Roy Hibbert from Georgetown "

You dont exist after the draft?
If the bobcats would do a S/T of Jaric+Buckner+our 1st rd pick this year for Okafor. I would do it. I would give the 1st for Okafor if they take on Jaric and Buckner. (If we do a S/t they would need those guys just to make it work)
I believe Okafor is a RFA. If that is the case then giving them a different package of Green/Doleac with the 1st is in order. I doubt Cookie has much value for them with May on roster.
Okafor/Al/Gomes
nice frontcourt.

^^^agreed.
Also
Okafor is not a player that we should throw a whole lot of pieces to acquire. He has not shown that he can stay healthy for a whole season yet. I think Klomp's deal is pretty solid with the pick swap, moving from 4 or 5 to 1 is pretty impressive. I don't think I'd pay much more than that, I'd think about giving them Green on top of that. Sad thing is, I think that Craig and Green's contracts would be up by the time we figured out if we had the 1st pick or not. Anyone know how that timeline works?
