Corbin does upgrade the second team over Chuck Person, IMO.

I really wanted Hollywood on that list.

Rider was incredibly talented and incredibly stupid. There was one play where we were shooting free throws. Whomever it was missed the 2nd and Rider curled around the nearest defender, jumped from behind the hoop, and put it back. Too bad he was a dumb as any athlete ever was.

Live the highlights were Laettner's alley-oop to Gundars Vetra and Bill Curley out playing Zo................for a 5 minute stretch.

The last straw is that his impact doent translate into winning. Wouldnt it be something if the twolves finish the season 22-14 and have the identical record as the KG led wolves?

First let me start out by saying that I love Al Jefferson, and I think he could one day be as good as KG... That being said, you're definitely hating on KG. He scored 34 and 20 against Indiana in 2001. He scored 34 and 22 against Memphis in 2002. He scored 31 and 20 against Portland in 2003. He scored 37 and 22 boards against Golden State in 2003. He scored 47 and 17 boards against Phoenix in 2005.

On top of that, he's also had some performances that Big Al will never match, like his 20, 20, 10 assists against Golden State in 2004.

Don't post stats if they're inaccurate.

To be fair KG's 5 games that you mention (sans 20-20-10) happened over the course of 5 years. Al's games have all happened in half a season. I think that's more what Kingly222 was referring to with things KG never did.

I don't think a game 2 years ago is particularly relevant, Jefferson was pretty immature at that time and didn't come into camp in shape in his 2nd year. Gomes started ahead of him in Al

Nice post, but Garnett too intense? For me there's no such thing.

BIG al is good but no where compare to kg. Come on your the secound wrost team in the nba...with kg he kept u guys ar 500. Big al has freedom because you guys suck. I bet if u put ron artest on minny and tell him to do what ever he wants his stats will be crazy. Main difference is kevin garnett is leadin the best team in the nba. BIG al will never bring the instensity or passion kg brings. You guys know kg is a double double guy u seen what he can do. If u guys did anit know al has taken 300 more shoots than kg, and played 300 more minutes than kg. I don't know about u but that 36-8 record kg has looks alot better than anything big all is doing. Answer these questions can big al lead this team...don't say he's to young cause dwight, bosh, lebron have all done it.

Last I heard, basketball was a team game, KG didn't win those 36 games himself. Yes, he was a big contributor to those games, but there are new faces on that Celtic team and three all-stars(Ray is an all-star in my mind).

Only reason I don't want KG back is because he wouldn't have an opportunity to win a ring back, is that being selfish for rather having Al here is who 23 years old?

You do realize that, after Wittman took over, the Wolves had a 12-30 record last year (with KG and a similar if not better supporting cast). With Wittman at the helm this year, the Wolves were 8-34 through their first 42 games (with Big Al and a similar if not worse supporting cast).

Does this show that Big Al is just about KG's equal? No (although it's far closer than you make it out to be), it shows that your logic is as flawed as Wittman's track record is poor.

OK, bad grammar aside, let me respond.

thegame10 wrote:BIG al is good but no where compare to kg. Come on your the secound wrost team in the nba...with kg he kept u guys ar 500.

The Wolves win % was 40 and 39 the last 2 years with KG. Besides, keeping the team at around 500 is not the goal. The goal is to win a championship. It was obvious that was not going to happen with KG.

thegame10 wrote: I bet if u put ron artest on minny and tell him to do what ever he wants his stats will be crazy.

I bet you're wrong. He will be crazy but not his stats.

thegame10 wrote:BIG al will never bring the instensity or passion kg brings.

Only thing in your post I agree with but that is still not a knock on Al. He just has a different personality.

thegame10 wrote:You guys know kg is a double double guy u seen what he can do.

I also know that Al is a double double guy because I've seen what he can do. Have you?

thegame10 wrote:If u guys did anit know al has taken 300 more shoots than kg, and played 300 more minutes than kg.

???

thegame10 wrote:I don't know about u but that 36-8 record kg has looks alot better than anything big all is doing.

This season was not ever about winning. It was about rebuilding. Do you know what that word means? Come back in 3 years and we will talk.

What questions? Remind me again, what exactly has Bosh accomplished? Dwight is having his first winning season this year. Lebron I will give you but nobody in their right mind is comparing Al with Lebron.

KG might have more passion than Al... KG shows more emotion and energy than anyone in the game. He's fun to watch, but tell me... when the game is on the line in the 4th quarter, who's going to carry the team on his back? Big Al has already demonstrated that he wants the ball in his hands at the end and he can finish. KG defers to his teammates too much in crunch time.
