Self-promotion time

Post#1 » by MilMinMan » Wed Feb 6, 2008 6:08 am

I think Canis Hoopus has the best contract and draft info for the Wolves out there. I also happen to be biased.

What do you like or dislike about both pages? I'm trying to improve them for the target audience (you).

Thanks much for any and all input, good or bad.

Great site/information. May I suggest you either bold or change the colors in the salary table to make it easier to see/read and distinguish between the different options. Otherwise - nice job!

yeah, the color on there is messed up because it's a graphic. i went with a graphic because drupal doesn't like tables very much and my css skills are weak. any webmasters out there? thanks for the feedback.

Good stuff.

By the way, that might be the greatest avatar I've ever seen. Flight of the Conchords is awesome.

Are you using Drupal? The Contract page needs some work. You got the right column overlapping the image (which may not be the best way to display your info).

The site looks a little plain as well. But it's a start.

yes, using drupal. my screen is big so i don't have the overlapping image problem, thanks for the tip... might just have to do fixed width, or figure out a non-image solution...

I've had "It's business time" going through my head. And of course "I'm the Hip-pop-o-patomus, my rhymes are bottomless [long confused pause]".

I think using something other than an image is your best bet. It would be pretty kick ass if you could create a sortable database that can link to player profiles, but it might be overkill for what you are trying to do.

The quickest way would just be to reduce the width of the left and right columns, or go with a two-column layout.
