Al n' Perk No Layups! wrote:Dude, enough with your sour grapes hating! We're missing most of our viable bigs (KG, Perk, Pollard) leaving us with three bigs, two of which are 6'7" and the other is Scal, Pierce is sick, and Ray and Rondo are banged up. To top it all off, your team is loaded with ex-Celtics who are amped for this game.
But yeah, this game, a loss to Orlando on a miracle three and a loss in Cleveland by 1 proves that we're not that good.![]()
Whatever dude.
Its not sour grapes, i was responding to the troll who came around saying something like "say whatever you want to make you feel good about the loss".
Truth be told I think nearly all MN posters here are more than satisfied with the trade.

I don't get to see many TWolves games and I'm not sure how you guys play McCants but I really did not see him have many bad plays on D? Wasn't he guarding Ray? That is a hard cover , especially fo someone not known for defense. I also did not see the attitude thing. I would think you would have wanted a true scorer in on that last play....deeney0 wrote:-= original quote snipped =-

He was supposed to rotate when Powe got that easy dunk and he stood near the key and just watched.

Doc Rivers comments on Al, Gomes, Bassy and Brewer
"(Jefferson) was terrific. He made big shots down the stretch. I know him pretty well. They're all playing well, Ryan is playing well. I'm really proud of Bassy, too, because I think he's really matured into a nice solid point guard and as you guys know, I just love Corey Brewer, just love him. He's a defensive terror as a rookie, and when he gets older and more experienced in the league, he's starting to make that jump shot. He's a winner. That's a guy you have to keep on your team."
