Wolves guard Marko Jaric when asked if he thinks much about the trade deadline: "I do, yes. I definitely wish to play on a contender in the playoffs and try to compete for a championship. But you know what? For me right now, it's not fair, being a starting guard on this team to think about being somewhere else. So, as long as I'm here, my head is going to be here and I'm going to be 100 percent for this team and for these guys."
Forward Mark Madsen: "I think it's always something where you wonder, 'Could I be next?' That's part and parcel of being an NBA basketball player. A lot of players on our team have experienced multiple trades throughout our careers. I would never embrace a trade at this stage of my career, given my comfort level and the home I feel I have found here in Minnesota. But you never know what the future holds."
Guard Greg Buckner: "I don't know. I enjoy being here, I appreciate the opportunity Mr. Taylor [owner Glen Taylor] has given me. If he wants to move me, I understand that. If he doesn't, I understand that, too. I'd like to play more, but it's not in the cards right now. So we'll wait and see what happens. I'm not OK with sitting on the bench, but I'm not trying to ruffle feathers or nothing like that. I'm not going in there saying, 'Trade me, trade me.' Not at all."
