At times, Shad has shown he can be a scary good scorer. Defense still needs work. Turnovers are a problem. He commits and absolutely ridiculous amount of fouls per 48 (3rd in the NBA among guards who qualify, trailing only Tony Allen and Nick Young). Attitude may be an issue - Witt benched him in the 4th against Boston do to a couple of plays, Wolves really could've used him in the game at the end instead of Jaric.

Is he the clear starter at 2? No. He hasn't started in February. There's no clear starter right now. Shad might be better suited to an "offense off the bench" role.

He needs to play more than 15-20 min per game.

He's averaging 27, and if you consider the amount of time he spends on the bench because of early foul trouble, the plan (at least until February) seems like it was to play him at least 30 minutes a game.

McCants got a ticket last year by buddying up to KG, and this year by buddying up with Gerald Green.

C'mon McCants -- earn your ticket! Turn that potential into stardom!
