Kind Words from Pistons board RE: Randy Foye

Post#1 » by 4ho5ive » Fri Feb 29, 2008 2:01 am

While inquiring about the Dale Davis "signing" so I could update my 2k8 rosters, I came across a topic simply titled "Randy Foye". In it, several Pistons fans had very kind words to say about him and I figured we could always use more moral support. Here is one of the quotes.

Aaron2344 wrote:Yeah, it was a knee injury. Something with his knee cap.

And he played a full season last season. They just brought him along slowly, but he was unreal in the last month of the season.

And to try and relate this to the Pistons, my business partner trains him during the summer. Billups told Foye he's going to be a spectacular player, and reminds him a lot of himself when he first got in the league, except Foye is a much better athlete.

Hopefully he doesn't end up in the same place as Billups. In a different town with a ring. He should have the ring, but in
Minnesota
Official member of the Brew Crew. Effort will lead to success

Lovin' every minute of it!

You can see the similarity in their games. Foye is a score first point guard, but after watching him in the short time since he has been back, you can see him trying to get the team involved.

They're both big guards, can shoot well, though Foye has a ways to go until he reaches Chauncey's status, but Randy can get to the rim and create his shot much better.

I'm hoping to get in the gym this summer and watch him a bit, but my partner has a very good workout ready for him.

Either way, I really believe you have such a great core. Hopefully the lotto lands you guys the top pick to get Beasley.
