Telling 12 Game stretch for Wolves

Post#1 » by GopherIt! » Sun Mar 2, 2008 8:48 pm

The coming twelve game stretch could be very telling for where the Wolves end up in the standings. It features some of the worst teams including eight in the bottom third of the league.

Mar 2 vs Seattle
Mar 4 vs Charlotte
Mar 5 at Utah
Mar 7 at Sacramento
Mar 8 at LA Clippers
Mar 11 vs Portland
Mar 14 at Seattle
Mar 15 at Portland
Mar 17 vs LA Clippers
Mar 19 vs Memphis
Mar 21 at Indiana
Mar 22 vs New York

At Utah is the only game that's probably out of reach. All the rest are winnable, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them take 4 or 5 out of 12.

You mean finishing tied with the 6th worst record / 6th best chances?

...and then we can all become huge homers and post threads on the general board about every player on our team?

You mean a thread saying something like Al>LMA?

I'm not really excited about landing the number one pick in this draft. Really I just want to win some game. Go Wolves.

No I mean one about Buckner being a great bench warmer or something like that.

How so? If you mean that you are already a Roy nut hugger, then yes I agree. If you mean that there are threads about the Wolves on the general board or that most Wolves fans are homers, I disagree.

Care to explain? Or is a stupid three letter response all you can muster?

Since Downer Debbie repeatedly says that the entire team is crap, then everyone to him looks like an irrational homer.

I've never said the entire team is crap. Just the majority of the team. And given the 12-45 record, I just might be on to something...

Who here claims that this team is setting the world on fire?
