I'd bet we take Brandon Rush in the 2nd if he's available. A junior from a winning program. If Jason Thompson lands in our laps in the 2nd round, I'd definitely take him.

I would've put Rush on my list, but I don't think he'll last until the 2nd round. Athletic, a good shooter and plays defense.

Don't really know anything more about him than the other foreign Cs I've read about, but I think you're exactly right that he'd fit the bill of one of our 2nd rounders not joining the team immediately.

Did anyone see DeRozen in the McDonad's dunk contest? He scored 2 perfect marks. Keep him on radar for the 2009 draft. He shot 89% from the field for Compton (California) High as a senior. Check out the link below to see him in the dunk contest. Another Tim Floyd acquisition for USC next season.

While leading Compton High to a 24-6 record this season, DeRozen, who has signed to play for Tim Floyd next season at USC, shot a ridiculous 89.0 percent from the field. Not from the free throw line; the field. And he's a 6-5 guard/forward, not a 6-11 center

Lopez was good last year and being his senior year and probably not being drafted that high I think he will stay in school with his brother.

Bill walker is far from a poor mans jr rider. He is just a step down from beasly in my mind.. IF he is smart he stays a year as a first option and lights it up and goes top 10.

The Lopez twins were sophomores this year. Brook's a potential top 5 pick and Robin will more than likely go in the 1st round if he declares.

No, he's a sophomore. I'd be pretty surprised if he declared.

Curry has already said he is definitely returning for his junior year. He could actually improve his stock by learning to play the point next year. With Richards graduating I've heard that is exactly what is going to happen.

Robin Lopez could be a Anderson Varejao-type... high energy, good defender. He'd look great next to Jefferson (maybe coming off the bench behind his brother? We'll see.)

If he shows he can handle PG duties (Richards was a senior this year, so he should get the chance to) and puts some meat on his bones, I think his draft stock could get higher. I don't think that scoring and shooting ability's going anywhere.

Plus, as others have said, he already said he's going back to school.

Jawai gone according to draft express hes dropped like 10 places even though he hasnt played a game in ages

i would go with Ingles and Dorsey

Ingles a good sf from australia well actually hes more like a sf/pg
top 4 in assists in nbl
decent rebounder
can blow past hes man on offense and can take chargers on D
can also bring the ball up the court
6'8 and long wingspan
very good playmaker with pg vision

Dorsey - well ya hes a good fit

Rose - perfect fit

Jefferson/Richard/Dorsey
Gomes/Smith/Walker
Brewer/Jaric/Ingles
Foye/Mccants/Buckner
Rose/Telfair

JR Rider was a top 5 pick and a very good player, just slighty psychotic. And who said poor man's?

Walker is pretty far from Rider I think - if Rider's brain had matched his skills he would have been a top 5 player in the league. Walker had a good tournament but he was very inconsistent during the season. Still, he seemed to be recovered from the knee injury by the end of the season, maybe he's better than I give him credit for. Judged from K-State's last game he wouldn't be a bad 2nd round/late first round pick, the question is can he play at that level consistently...
