Who's being ridiculous now?

Kobe
Howard
LBJ
Paul
Oden
Duncan
Wade
Melo
KG
Yao
Amare
Big Al
Bosh
Dirk
Nash

Which 5 of these players is Gay going to be better than next year?

If we could net Rudy and Brook for Beasley and our 2 2nd rounders...you gotta think about it.

The thing is, we can't.

C.lupus,

I don't think it's that ridiculous at all. In the games I've seen him play this year he has been unstoppable. Very rarely can a player make you say Wow! out loud like Gay can. Gay doubled his scoring average this year to over 20ppg. Next year he could easily be scoring 25ppg plus, especially with a nother year under Ivaroni system and with improved point guard play around him. He's still only 21 years old and was considered raw when he was drafted.

Kobe
LBJ
Paul
KG
Amare
Duncan
Dirk
D. Howard

^^^I see these guys as the elite talents.

Nash (slowing down this year, even more so by next)
Gay
D. Williams
Big Al
Bosh
Yao
Wade
Melo

^^^I see little separating these guys in the near future.

Oden? Let's wait to see him play a game first.

I don't think I'm being ridiculous at all. Post those trades on the respective boards and see the feedback you get. Three lottery picks for Bealsey from chicago? An all star and a top five pick from Memphis? That's a hell of a lot for a player that is not even the consensus #1 anymore. Beasley isn't one of those can't miss prospects like Oden/Robinson/Howard/Lebron/even Durant

I'd like to see Al and Beasley play next to each other before making any decisions. Beasley has formidable high and low post skills, and has a good feel for the game. He could be a very nice complement to Al, no matter his long term position.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

If this does transpire you either have to draft Michael Beasley and live with the defensive limitations of a Beasley/Jefferson frontline or you trade him with your unwanted garbage like Antoine Walker and Marko Jaric for a veteran allstar or a solid starter and some other player in the lottery.
