I don't think Brewer will average great all-around numbers until he's a starter, which barring injury won't happen until after the trade deadline next year at the earliest. He's another year away, IMO, but also the Wolf with the highest ceiling right now. He reminds me of a young Scottie Pippen just a little bit... good team player, ball handler, defender. Pippen obviously went from good to great by being a dominant offensive player and shooter (he should have won MVP the year Jordan missed playing baseball.) Brewer has a long, LONG way to go to being that good, don't get me wrong. But the potential is there.
I agree with the Pippen comparison, and I actually just thought of this today and posted about it in some player comparison thread on brewer = bust thread.
The usual Bowen comparisons are thrown around, but to me Brewer is already putting up type numbers and defense. He doesnt compare very well to many SF's in the league, but Pippen is what I thought suited him as his potential ceiling. He will never reach that level imo, but I dont see any reason as to why he couldn't get close in a few years with effort.
