Snow day for me! (I know you all care)

About 18 inches at my house, 27 inches in Cass Lake, 25 inches in Grand Rapids.

Happy Spring.

Snow in April ( and well into May) is typical for northern Minnesota, though we have been spoiled the last few years with early Springs. Getting 2 feet of snow is NOT normal, however. At least I know it won't last long this time of year and we need the soil moisture.

Looks like there is going to be a lot of snow coming late Thursday and through Friday. I am planning on going to visit my family on Friday. Driving 3 hours right through the thick of it (or so it looks) should be fun.

what part of the state are you headin to?

central minnesota is supposed to get up to a foot, my neck is 6 inches.

We had 6 inches of snow on sunday and it was gone by monday. The entire states supposed to be in the 50's by sunday. Dont thinkt he roads will be slick until friday night when it freezes.

I am going from Brainerd to Osceola, WI. Osceola is about 40 minutes north east of Stillwater. I should also add that my car is not great for winter driving (lowered VW). Right now I am trying to switch work days so I can leave today around 3.

It doesn't sound like it'll be too bad in my area..2-4 inches but my mom has to go to some singing competition in fargo so from northwest iowa to fargo she's gonna be in the thick of it.

^ Yeah, that won't be a fun drive. They are saying 6+ inches at my house but that's what they said last weekend, too and we ended up with 1.5 - 2 feet. I work at home on Fridays, though, so whatever. It will be gone by Monday evening.
