disgruntled i'd have to disagree with you. We're still one game behind(ahead) of memphis for the 3rd worst record. And have you ever heard of lottery karma? The teams that tank get screwed. We're obviously not tanking and I think this is going to be our lucky year in the lottery. Also, would it be THAT horrible to draft lopez? The wolves WILL prevail. We just all gotta' have faith.

ive got no faith.

ive had my heart crushed to many times by living in this stupid state

i already know we'll give detroit a run for its money, and beating the bucks at home is not hard, while memphis goes to what portland and golden state?

I thik us tanking would only screw us. I figure that if we work hard and play right the cards will finally fall in place and we will get a top two pick. We have been shafted int the lottery before. Sooner or later something good will have to drop for us. We send Marko and we will be A-OK!

we have a division of
Roy Alridge Oden
Durant Green (their 2008 top pick plus the rights to 3 future first rounders)
Boozer Williams Brewer
Carmelo

Drafting Rose and Beasley is very important right now. We don't need to tie Memphis.

I'm telling you. I got it on good authority that if we finish with the 3rd worst record we are landing a top two pick this year. If we finish 4th or 2nd then I don't know but 3rd place is where we want to be! Just wait and see, ARRROOOOOOO!!!!

YES. Foye has to wear that knee brace and get it rubbed during time-outs and Jefferson is hobbling half the time. I think we should pull those two for thier sakes, not for tanking.

just out of curiosity...if we end up with the same record as the grizzlies, what is the tie breaker. we are 1-3 against the grizzlies this year, does that factor in at all.

For ping pong balls, we split the odds for getting a Top Three pick.

For instance let's say we tie for third:

Team 3 156 15.60% 15.74% 15.59%
Team 4 119 11.90% 12.60% 13.30%

In the lottery, both teams get a 13.75% chance at the top pick, 14.17% at the #2, and 14.45% chance at #3.

If neither team gets a top three pick in the lottery, the order for the draft is determined by a coin flip. Head-to-head record is not taken into account, like it is for determining play-off seeding.

Wolves are now tied for the 2nd longest current winning streak in the league; Houston's on a five game roll, then there are several teams at 2.
