when we still had casell if we would have let spree walk and picked up the option on Cassell do you think we still would have done the first trade with boston? Obviously we wouldnt have did the trade with LAC but I think it we would have did the trade with Boston to get rickey Davis and Gerald Green they would have replaced Spree and we still could have been contenders...

Your post is kind of hard to understand but to answer the question, No, I don't think we'd still be contenders. Ricky D wouldn't have solved anything and Cassell gave up on this team anyways. It's too bad spree and cassell had to be little B!@@$es and demand a ton of money.
My bigger what if is this: What if Sam Cassell was healthy during the WCF in 2004? I think we would've had a great shot to win it all personally.

I agree with what colin said about the 2k4 finals. Had Cassell been healthy, we wouldnt have had to put so much pressure on the rest of the team, Cassell was the clutch shooter. Spree was busy throwing up bricks the entire series.
I dont think Detroit would have been able to stop us either. People forget how good we were when we were rolling on all cylinders.

Cassell's injury basically sealed our fate. T-Hud, as invaluable as most of us deem him to be, would've been incredibly valuable during the 04 WCF. Instead, we had Darrick Martin starting at point and KG as his backup.

THANK YOU!!! I think if we had a healthy Sam we could have won it that year....AND if we would have let spree go and did the ricky trade we could have won it the next year too.....thats just my personal opinion....
