He's such a great finisher at the rim, you don't know how many AND1's he got during the season, it's why he doesn't shoot at least Two more FTs per game is because of all of his finishes at the rim.

If he can create enough contact to get a ton of and 1's, he should be able to draw fouls at a much higher rate than he has been. Even an extra 2 FTA's per game probably leaves him a little lacking in this area.

I'm not saying that he's a bad player, because he's obviously a very, very good player who should at minimum make a few all-star appearances. But he's not perfect, and considering the type of payoff he would get for how easy it would be to accomplish, it is something he ought to work on.

I have to wonder how much his injury affected this part of his game. Hopefully he will come out next season much more aggressive.

On a more general note, playing on a crappy team doesn't help any of our players in getting foul calls from the refs. Hopefully that will improve also.

Yea there were plenty of times I watched Big Al get mugged by a double or triple team and not get the call, he is a great finisher though.

Al goes to that hook shot so much though, he can always get that shot off, but its a finesse move and doesn't draw contact

Al could stand to get into better shape too though like Foye. A little more hang-time should help both of them get some more foul calls. Al gets blocked A LOT. A little more elevation and explosion should draw some more fouls.
