Well, aside from Kevin Love, this time of year is quite loveable.

The off season is where you get to work primarily on fixing/building your team. Yes, there are practices during the season and trades happen as well, but the focus is on the games. That is primarily cheering for fans and second guessing the rotation and a few set plays. We typically don't break down offensive or defensive sets and put forth how they should run a 1-4 high princeton type offensive set or that the 1-3-1 matchup zone def would be ideal for this team (generic examples, no analysis put into if these should be run).

With this time of year people break down team needs and players desired, look at the cap, see the prospects and play GM. This is the fun time! Heck, I would simulate a good number of seasons in my random sports games/franchises just to get to the off season and make changes trying to improve the team. Come on Rev, this is fun! Just don't believe the hype, see through the smoke, and Love Hurts.... this team.

hehe, it is not that. I hate the speculation and the way people get bandwagon and personal.

What if they did both deals, 3 for 8/Bogut and Smith/McCants for #16?

C - Bogut/Nathan Jawai
PF - Jefferson/Donte Green
SF - Gomes/Danilo Gallinari
SG - Brewer/Bill Walker
PG - Foye/Jaric

Bring in 4 high potential draft picks along with Bogut. Move Walker/Buckner/Telfair for a young perimeter scorer.

I think I still like it better with Mayo.

No way Philly does that deal. It's terrible. They can sign Smith in the offseason, and they have no need for McCants.

not that I disagree with you necessarily, but Wolves could also match an offer for Smith and McCants is a 41% 3 point shooter and Philly could desperately use a 3 point shooter

actually Philly is a team that needs outside shooting big time. They will look to address it in the draft. Mccants would be a perfect fit in Philly

I agree with you, but over on the PHI board they seem to hate McCants, mainly seeing him as a headcase. They love Craig Smith though (who put up 36 against them). I fleshed out that strange rumor from the financial end, and ran it past them:

Craig Smith (S&T) for Willie Green ( $3.4 exp) + #16

and

McCants for TPE

Nobody could confirm they also heard it on a Philly sports station. The rumor has the ring of truth, but no confirmation, and not many takers on the PHI board.
