Why do they always have to end MIN interviews with "How do you feel about cold weather?"
At first, when Trout answered the "what kind of player do you see yourself in five years?" as "Just a guy. Not somebody that stands out," I thought "Where's the passion to get better?" But then he went on to say, "Y'know, like Tim Duncan" and I changed my mind instantly.

Does anyone know what Lopez' standing reach is compared to Tim Duncans?
I couldn't find either players' reach anywhere, but I did discover that McCants' standing reach is a half inch longer than Brewers. 8'7.5" to 8'7". That stat gives me more hope for McCants to develop on the Defensive side of the ball.

Duncan's got some pretty long arms, I haven't seen exactly how long, though. Lopez's measurements were taken at the Pre-draft camp in Orlando today, they should be released fairly soon.
I could care less about Rashad's long arms these days. Like you, I was hopeful when I first found out, but his problem on defense hasn't been his height, it's been that he can't stay in front of anybody without mugging them.

"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Hey, I am Hispanic... I am allergic to the cold. Lopez might feel the same way too.

There's a pretty significant Hispanic population in Minneapolis actually. 11% compared to 3% for Memphis and 6% for Seattle, so come on down Brook. Er, up and over a bit.

Lopez dropped from #3 to #9 in Chad Ford's most recent mock:
